Have you ever wondered what the far future looks like? What our world will look like? What humans will look like, speak like, and act like? Will humans even exist in the far future, or will we become extinct?
Some theories may actually surprise you. According to BBC Future, Greenland may melt entirely due to modern day global warming, and the human language may not exist as we know it today. When you really sit and think about it, humans haven’t been around for long, at least compared to how old our world and universe is. We have evolved so much in so little time, but will it all come to an end sooner than we think?
Below is an infrographic provided by iibstudio for BBC Future. It goes in depth about what our future looks like one thousand, ten thousand, and one million plus years from now. We obviously don’t know exactly what the future will look like, but we can gather data and make an educated guess. By we, I mean scientists and others much smarter than me.
