Nobody want’s to just be average. We should all strive to be above average and to be the best we can be. This includes trying to start your own business, working for pleasure and not just for money and comfort, doing what you want to do and trying to become the best at it.
I turned 24 years old just a couple of days ago and as I reflect back on my last 10 years of life, I am nothing more than average. I graduated high school, graduated college and got my degree, and eventually got a job in my field.
The last few years I have been miserable. I am second guessing what I am pursuing as a career, I am second guessing where I decided to settle down, and second guessing pretty much everything else in my life. I need to stop concerning myself with what others expect of me and just live my life the way I want to. I know the phrase is cliche, but you only live once. I refuse to look back 50 years from now and wish I did things differently.
Below is an eye-opening infographic that explains how to become unremarkably average, and how to avoid it. I took a lot from it, and I hope you do too.
